Right of Withdrawal
Withdrawal Policy for Consumers
(Consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.)
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day:
- on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods, if you ordered one or more goods in a single order and they are delivered together;
- on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the last item, if you ordered multiple goods in a single order and they are delivered separately.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (KNITIDO Europe GmbH, Schönhauser Allee 51, 10437 Berlin, phone: +49 (0)30 6640 9300, fax: +49 (0)30 6640 9299, email: support@knitido.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax, or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from choosing a different type of delivery than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal. We will use the same payment method used in the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged fees for this reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you inform us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value results from handling them in a way that is not necessary to check their condition, properties, and functionality.
Exclusions and Expiry Reasons
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:
- for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;
- for the supply of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;
- for the supply of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed at the time of contract conclusion, but which can only be delivered after 30 days and whose value depends on market fluctuations beyond the trader’s control;
- for the supply of newspapers, magazines, or periodicals, except subscription contracts.
The right of withdrawal expires early for contracts:
- for sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery;
- for goods which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items due to their nature;
- for audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.
