Toe house socks for the whole family

Designing Knitido Home toe socks was something special for us, too. The idea was to create toe socks for home - toe socks for the whole family. They were meant to be naturally warming and at the same time durable. An ABS coating was to protect against slipping. And we needed a cohesive, timeless design.

The right yarn

For the yarn, we chose a cozy, warming blend of New Zealand merino wool and cashmere. The socks are soft, warm very pleasantly, and don’t itch on the skin. At the same time, they’re thick, as you’d expect from house socks. Since wool is a delicate material, but house socks have to withstand a lot, we reinforced the yarn synthetically.

The right care

Please note that wool is naturally a delicate material. Our house socks are reinforced with synthetic yarns, but careful handling and proper care are still very important.

The toe socks are washable up to 30°C; we recommend the wool cycle and wool detergent. These toe socks are made larger and then shrunk with hot air. As a rule, they don’t shrink further when washed. Laundry bags protect against hungry washing machines. Do not iron, do not tumble dry. Wash inside out; before washing, if necessary, pull the toes back out from inside the sock. Attention: do not cut off any threads inside the socks.
